Candies are heading out

Well, I brought in a giant zip loc from home of candy and chocolates. Not all of it is out of the house but I did not have a big enough bag today with me. LOL. Hey, it is a step, right?

Hoping this will be the year

what is it about January 1st that has so many of us setting goals to lose weight? why is it we don't seem driven the other 364 days to care for ourselves? I am 42 years old and I have been overweight for the majority of those years. Is this the year that will change? Can it be the year? Can you help me make it the year? How about Jillian and Bob from the Biggest Loser showing up on my doorstep? Or am I supposed to do it myself? something has to change.

still ...

still fat....

still not happy about it...

still seemingly incapable of changing...

Doing Really Bad :(

no doing good at all... actually doing really bad...
cookies, DQ blizzards, fudge... :(
did super on vacation: ate quite healthy and walked all the time
but now... since we came back, Easter brought some candy and chocolate
and it just hasn't stopped since then.
very sad and upset about it.
have to somehow get a fresh start again.
:(

vacation

started off with a double strawberry daiquiri....

how many calories is that?

Monday, March 3, 2008

a spoonful of peanut butter!

isn't a spoonful of peanut butter out of the jar divine at certain times?

highly caloric and soooo not on the right track...

(although we do by the reduced fat stuff)

but ahhhhhh, sometimes, it is just right

off the wagon

This week has been rough. We had a death in the family and I have not exercised once this week, nor read any of my books that are helping me stay on track and I have eaten a bunch of crap. And I pretty certain I have not had one glass of water!

many meals on the go, sweets at the funeral home visitations, at family meals together and at the reception and take out too...

seriously need to get back on track.

although I must also accept that this week was not a typical one and is more about losing someone dear and special then about moving forward. Tomorrow is a new day in many ways.
